The city of Bethlehem is the location of some of the most significant Christian sites in the world and is the birthplace of Jesus and King David. We will tour Manger Square and visit the Church of the Nativity as well as the Holy Grotto where Jesus was born. From there, we will continue to St. Catherine’s Church and see the pasture fields below.

A day tour is a regular tour that we operate on specific weekdays. Tours depart from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The tour duration from pickup time to end is approximately 10 hours. We meet at the pick-up point (in Jerusalem – the parking lot on 23 Hillel street, in Tel Aviv – 12 Allenby Street), and at the tour’s end, you will be returned to the same point.

All of our daily tours are operated in English.

For safety reasons, participation in tours is limited to the age of 5 and up.

You have the option of bringing your luggage with you and storing it in the trunk of the bus during the tour. However, please be aware that Travel Israel does not assume responsibility for any damage or losses. It is recommended to provide advance notice if choosing to bring luggage on the bus.

Yes, but not too much. We definitely recommend bringing some local currency with you to pay for lunch and anything else you may wish to purchase along the way.

It is possible to select pick-up/drop-off in different cities. However, we do not disperse to specific drop off locations. Any expenses incurred as a result of travel from the drop-off location to your final destination are not covered by Travel Israel.

Payment for tours is made upon reservation via our secure site, at which point you will receive confirmation via e-mail.

Our family could not have been more excited about visiting Bethlehem and travel Israel made the experience one of a kind. Touring manger square and the actual church of the nativity was a dream come true which we will remember always.
